Global Excavation Safety Conference provides critical information and education for all stakeholders within the damage prevention and excavation safety industry. With education specific to industries and roles, as well as education with a cross-industry appeal, Global Excavation Safety Conference is the premiere event to network with industry peers, learn safe practices, and lower costs associated with excavation damages. If your role involves any aspect of utility damage prevention, Global Excavation Safety Conference is the right event for you.
Breakfast and Lunch on Wednesday and Thursday, as well as food and beverage at Wednesday Night at the Duce, are included with Conference and Exhibitor badges. The Expo badge does not include meals. Individual meal tickets are available for purchase onsite.

Global Excavation Safety Conference is a three-day event. In 2022, Tuesday, March 1 – Thursday, March 3. Additional events are also happening onsite during Damage Prevention Week and the Click Before You Dig Golf Scramble takes place on Friday, March 4, 2022.

You always have the freedom to choose the activities and education you participate it, but the more activities you participate in – sessions, networking, sponsored tech talks and demos, as well as visiting all exhibit hall vendors – the more value you will gain from your experience.
No. Other events occurring during Damage Prevention Week are separate events from Global Excavation Safety Conference and may require an additional purchase. Visit DamagePreventionWeek.com for details on these events.

If you attend Global Excavation Safety Conference with a Conference registration, and are dissatisfied with your experience for any reason, we will make it right. We promise if you check in onsite and participate in a minimum of eight (8) hours of education, and at the end of the Conference you do not agree that this event met your expectations, we will refund your original fee to attend. Infrastructure Resources does not share or sell your contact information. You can choose who to share your contact information with via Global Excavation Safety Conference Mobile App. All exhibitors are provided you name, title and company name, but only those exhibitors whom you allow to scan your badge with lead retrieval devices are given access to your contact information – email, phone and/or address.
Conference registration is $1,300 when purchased onsite, but early bird rates as low as $811 are available for pre-event purchases. A Conference badge provides access to all event and activities that are part of Global Excavation Safety Conference. No. Because we believe the greatest value is found in the full three-day experience, all badge types available for purchase allow access for the entire length of Global Excavation Safety Conference.

Yes. Your badge provides access to the exhibit hall, educational sessions, and additional conference activities.
Only registered conference delegates are allowed in the exhibit hall. Spouses, guests, or friends can join you by purchasing an Expo pass for $125 before the Conference or onsite.
A badge is required to participate in all activities. If you forgot your badge, you will be asked to return to your hotel room to retrieve it. If you prefer, a new badge can be printed at the Full Service registration counter for a $5 reprint fee.
Yes. If you have pre-registered, you can still check in onsite using your first and last name.
For safety reasons, no one under 18 years of age is allowed in the exhibit hall.

Global Excavation Safety Conference Education Sessions are designed to tell story, address a concern specific to one or more stakeholder group(s), provide distinctive training or education, and/or strongly promote the damage prevention message in a unique way. Education sessions are designed to be sales-free. Conference delegates, regardless of industry, are welcome to attend any session they choose during each scheduled breakout time.
Global Excavation Safety Conference Plenary Sessions are topics carefully curated to benefit all Conference delegates. No concurrent education is scheduled during a plenary session and all conference delegates are encouraged to participate.
Held in Exhibit Hall Courtyards during exhibit hours, Global Excavation Safety Conference Networking Chats are casual conversations in which the moderator poses a question and leads participants in an engaging exploration of the topic at hand – whether business related or just-for-fun. Networking Chats may contain sponsored content. Led by exhibitors or speakers, these 30-minute conversations are open to all registration types.
Expo badges will allow you to participate in Vendor Outreach Sessions, Tech Talks, and Networking Chats, but do not include Conference education sessions. If you would like to convert your Expo badge to a Conference badge, contact Whitney@IR-SavingLives.com or 866-279-7755.
To provide you the maximum exposure to educational opportunities, most sessions are not repeated. Although some sessions may be recorded at a later date and available in Excavation Safety Alliance, we cannot guarantee this. We encourage you to use the “tag-team” approach with co-workers or colleagues by attending a variety of sessions, recording the take-aways in your provided Session Notes Book, and sharing this information with each other post-Conference.

Global Excavation Safety Conference Summits are interactive educational sessions designed to address a specific question within an industry segment. Moderators and panelists, through discussion and audience participation, work towards solution-based resolution. All conference delegates, regardless of industry, are encouraged to participate.
Held in Exhibit Hall Courtyards during exhibit hours, Global Excavation Safety Conference Tech Talks are in-depth explorations of exhibitor products and services. Allowing for interactive discussion with attendees, these 30 minute discussions are open to all registration types.
Exhibitor badges will allow you to participate in Vendor Outreach Sessions, Tech Talks, and Networking Chats but do not include Conference education sessions. Global Excavation Safety Conference is required to follow the limits established by the Phoenix Convention Center and the Arizona State Fire Marshal. All classrooms do have maximum capacity limits. We encourage you to have a “back-up” plan for session times when your first choice is filled.
Absolutely! Global Excavation Safety Conference delegates are welcome to attend any educational session that piques their interest. We encourage you to attend sessions that may be outside the immediate scope of your role within the industry as it can expand your knowledge base and increase your future success.
Sessions are scheduled into a day and time early in 2022 and published here, allowing you to review the offerings and pre-plan your personal agenda. During Global Excavation Safety Conference, log into the event app, review the onsite program, or refer to the printed schedule signs placed throughout the event site.
Global Excavation Safety Conference is always looking for SMEs who have information to share, a story to tell, or a case study to advance the cause of excavation safety. To submit an abstract for consideration, click here. Abstracts received after available space is filled may be held for consideration for future events.
Only delegates with a Conference badge may attend education sessions. All other badge types are welcome to participate in Vendor Outreach education.
Conference and Exhibitor badges include one ticket to Dueling Decades at the Duce. You may purchase additional tickets for your guests here for $150. Tickets can also be purchased onsite for $200.
The Duce is an easy ½ mile walk from Global Excavation Safety Conference, so transportation is not provided. However, if you prefer not to walk, Uber, Lyft and city taxi service are available and pedicabs are happy to bring you there for tips.
The Click Before You Dig Golf Scramble is Friday, March 4 and begins at 8:00 am MST.

Activities and refreshments for Dueling Decades at the Duce are based on the number of Conference and Exhibitor badges sold, therefore refunds are not available on these tickets. We encourage you to participate as this is the prime-time networking event of the Conference, but if you are unable to do so, you are welcome to give your ticket to someone else.
All expenses, including bar and catering are covered with your Dueling Decades at the Duce ticket. There are no unexpected costs at the venue you need to prepare for.
The Click Before You Dig Golf Scramble is at the Legacy Golf Course, located at 6808 S 32nd Street in Phoenix.

Transportation is not provided. A variety of transportation is available including Uber, Lyft, and city taxi service. We encourage you to coordinate with other players to share rides and transportation expense.

Any food consumed on premises at the Phoenix Convention Center must be purchased through one of their outlets. If you prefer to feed your team from one of the many local restaurants, you must leave the premises.
For safety reasons, only authorized exhibitor staff are allowed in the exhibit hall during set up times. Your booth staff must have a valid exhibitor button displayed to gain access during set up times. Exhibitor buttons are distributed at registration.
Booth tear down is scheduled to begin after the close of the outdoor demo fair to accommodate those exhibitors who are participating in that event. If you are not participating in the outdoor demo fair, you may begin tearing down after the floor closes at 11:00 am. In no circumstances can you begin booth tear down prior to the close of the exhibit hall.

If you would like to provide a private event for your clients during Global Excavation Safety Conference, we strongly recommend scheduling your event on Tuesday evening following the Welcome Reception. This will allow your clients to attend your event as well as Dueling Decades at the Duce.

Yes, if you have indicated on your contract that you will have a vehicle in your booth, we will provide you with your move in/move out scheduled time as well as requirements specific to placing a vehicle in the exhibit hall. If you did not indicate your desire to have a vehicle in your booth on your contract, contact Vicki at Vicki@IR-SavingLives.com or 612.462.5662 to discuss adding it.
If you have a vehicle in your booth, vehicle move in begins at 10:00 am MST Monday, February 28. Exhibitors set up times are 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm Monday, February 28 and 8:00 am – 1:00 pm Tuesday, March 1. Please note all booths must be assembled no later than 1:00 pm on Tuesday so show management can ensure the exhibit hall is cleared of all set up materials, the carpets are vacuumed and the hall is ready for delegates.
Registration opens Monday, February 28 at 7:00 am MST. Additional registration hours are included each day via the event schedule. Note that all booth staff must be checked in and have appropriate credentials to gain access to the exhibit hall during set up times.

All vehicles must be placed on the exhibit floor prior to the start of booth set up. We will contact you about your scheduled load in time. If you miss your scheduled time, your vehicle may not be able to be placed on the floor.
No, for insurance reasons, everyone on the exhibit floor must be registered attendees of Global Excavation Safety Conference. If you have someone visiting who would like to see your booth, please check with registration. We will escort them on and off the floor.
You can add a rider to your existing insurance policy, usually for a nominal fee, to provide the required coverage. This insurance is required by both the state and venue. Exhibitors will not be allowed to set up unless Infrastructure Resources, LLC has a certificate of public liability insurance on file. Review details in your signed contract available in your exhibitor portal.

In keeping with current safety recommendations, at this time all planned food and beverage service is served in self-contained packaging. No shared beverage dispensers or buffet meals are scheduled.
Unless federal, state, or local mandates supersede, attendees of Global Excavation Safety Conference are encouraged to be fully vaccinated before attending but will not have to show proof of vaccination.

The Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport is a short 7 miles from the Phoenix Convention Center. Uber, Lyft, city taxi service and the Phoenix Sky Train all offer easy and convenient transportation options.
The Valley Metro Light Rail provides an easy and convenient option for travel between the airport and downtown Phoenix. A one-way pass is only $2 and all hotels in Global Excavation Safety Conference room block are within easy walking distance. For more information on light rail, visit valleymetro.org. Uber, Lyft, and city taxi service are also available options.
Global Excavation Safety Conference hotel rates are available three days before and three days after the Conference.
