2021 Global Excavation
Safety Conference

Save the date

March 23-25, 2021
Tampa Convention Center | Tampa, FL

In 2004 our event began as Underground Focus Academy, but in 2006 we changed the event name to link to the mission of our Excavation Safety Guide (over 7 million published). Our reach continues to grow within North America as well as internationally. Attracting delegates from around the world (13 countries in 2019) has helped us build an educational track that is second to none. This global influence allows us to facilitate truly meaningful discussion on damage prevention and safe excavation best practices, share ideas and learn from experts worldwide.

We regularly host meetings at this event for industry associations like Nulca, UESI, APWA, GITA, and more, who are dedicated to keeping our workers, our neighborhoods, and the public safe. If your organization would like to learn more about this opportunity, contact us at info@emailir.com.

Based on this expanded focus, we have changed the name of the event to better represent all of the people and organizations, both domestic and international, who participate in this major industry event. Beginning in 2021, we are excited to begin our journey as the Global Excavation Safety Conference (Global ESC).

Alternating each year between the east and west coast allows our attendees a variety of destinations. Over the years we’ve visited many beautiful locations.
